I’ve worked in the entertainment and digital marketing industries for over twenty years and social media for the last seven.

I’ve developed & delivered traditional and digital campaigns & strategy for major global brands including Island Records, Universal Music, Warner Bros,  Airmiles, Nivea and Allianz,  along with household UK high street businesses like the Nationwide Building Society and WHSmith.

After 12 years in the traditional music industry as a label manager and senior marketer, I joined internet music & research start-up Peoplesound – right at the start of digital. There I helped establish one of the UK’s first online PR operations before moving to multi-award-winning agency Hyperlaunch.  After honing my digital PR experience, I established another ‘first’ by developing a dedicated social media marketing team at the Bristol based company in 2005.

Since then I’ve held management and senior planning roles at agencies including Hyperlaunch DMG, 20:20 and latterly Swindon based direct agency EquiMedia. Whilst there I established a social media and brand engagement division, 6th Sense.

I have hands on experience of developing workable strategies in highly regulated environments such as financial services, where compliance is critical and I always aim to work to industry best practice.
